The dbz cardgame on gba wasn't half bad but I could never find anyone that actually played it at the time.

oye I had that game. I only ever played with one of my other friends who had it though, and he was terrible at it lol. I don't think I even remember how to play that.
Dunno about the DS ones, but the PSP games expect that you know what you're doing, and even the low end opponents can be somewhat rough. That's the one hangup on these games on the whole, the more the card game itself has grown, the less friendly it seems to become to people looking to jump in for the first time.
Not that the card game is exceptionally complicated, but I could see how it could get discouraging for someone to jump in knowing nothing and have the CPU floor them over and over again with little to no instruction.
I'm playing World Championship Edition 2010 while i type this. It is the most superior yugioh game out for real gameplay.
As far as the thread goes, i'm pretty jealous that konami put it on the xbawx. But, if its not going to have that many cards in it then it wont be worth it(WC 2010 has over 3000 cards in it)
Pshh Tag force 4 for psp has 4063 cards. As far as I'm aware, it includes every card in the game. I'm not sure about WC 2009/10 as I havnt bought it, but I know 2008 was missing a lot of cards. and not just crappy cards noone used.
I remember trying to build a cyberdark deck, but they didnt have Hunter Dragons. I remember trying to build an old school exodia deck, but they didnt have Emissary of the Afterlife.
