Activating my USB controller

Just got a nre computer, has Windows 7 on it. Reinstalled FFXI, and I am currently trying to figure out how to configure it for my USB controller.

I thought I remembered something about an FFXI tab under "All Programs" last time. But I don't see one. All I see is a "Playonline" tab and all it does is load Playonline.

Anyone that can help me out? I can't even move w/o my controller.

Ok, nm this post. I think I got it worked out.

Nm it's still not working, I found the link to "Playonline Config" It had windowed mode option and controller option, turned it on and calibrated it, but it doesn't work in FFXI. But the calibration thing is recognizing the controller as active.

Also it says Windowed Mode is active, but when I log in it's actually old school full screen. Any help would be appreciated.

That's the config for PlayOnline Viewer, which is a completely seperate program from FFXI. Use the config program for FFXI.

Yeah, I remember that tab from Windows XP, but for some reason on Windows 7, I don't have it. I only have "PoL Config" and "Tetra Master Config". I've even tried searching for it and nothing.

I have FFXI on my computer, i can log onto my character and everything. I just can't use my USB controller or Windower past the intro with he crystal.
