Crystal CS Glitch?

Ok, I am not trolling anyone. But this issue is seriously irritating me. I got Windower and my USB controller working again, they both work fine until I hit play.

But once I hit play and go into the intro CS with the crystal, both windower and the USB controller shut down after I "enter" out of it.

I played this game for like 5-6 years and never had to go through that CS upon log in. Is there some way to disable it, b/c I think that CS is what's causing my issues atm.

Go into the FFXI setup programme (where you set screen resolutions and stuff) and uncheck the view opening movie box. (If it's not called that - it's something very similar)

In the "Pol Viewer Config" on my computer? or is this on PoL?

EDIT: It's really weird, I remember having an "FFXI Config" tab back on Windows XP. But on this one I don't all I have is a "PoL Config" tab.

EDIT2: Only options on the "PoL Config" are "Enable Sound", "Start in Windowed Mode", "Add to Media Center"(which is greyed out), and "Enable Gamepad".

And they are all checked excpet for "Add to media center".

Out of curiosity, do EU windows users have a directory called "C:\Programme Files\"?

Yeah, that's what I'm looking for. I only have a PoL Config and a Tetra Master Config, No FFXI Config tab, I've even tried searching for it, and no go.

It's on my computer, I can log on to my character and everything. but it won't let me use my controller or Windower while online.

If I understand the question correctly, we have the equivalent in our languages, for example a Norwegian version of Windows could have "C:\programfiler" (english version would still use "Program files")

No. Programs are for computers, programmes are for TV.
