What controllers work with Windows 7 64 bit?

While we're on the subject of controllers, I had a serious problem with the Belkin n52te.

I have two gamepad devides; Belkin n52te and Logitech Rumblepad 2. Now, without the drivers of Belkin or any for the n52te, my rumblepad works perfectly with FFXi. However, as soon as I install the n52te drivers, I'm unable to move with my rumblepad. The problem disappears soon as I uninstall the drivers. Are there any workarounds to having both drivers and only specify which input device for a particular game? Thanks.

I've tried all your solutions guys but the controller will still work with every game besides FFXI.

In the FFXI config my right stick won't even work properly, it defeaults the + to the bottom left of the box and it will only move between there and the top right.

It could be other prgrams that are interfering with your controller, check the drivers and update if possible, try your controller in other games it should work with and see if its just FFXI or the controller.

I have Win 7 and a xbox360 controller FFXI works, so do my other games like some online games, Metro 2033 and also Just Cause 2.

Yes, I said before the problem was only with FFXI.

well i am not sure but my logitech it says it is windows 7 compatible don't know about 64bit

Semi-related question, is a wired 360 controller the best bet? Or does this receiver work fine for wireless?

I was a little put off when I read that this receiver is not actually made by Microsoft, but I couldn't find an "official" one so I haven't purchased it yet.

Thats because microsoft stopped making them from what i was told while shopping for one.

The only thing i can ask, and i know its dumb but have you reconfigured it? that is the only thing i can think of if it is half working lol.
