Hate tools? BLU/RDM gets same tools with the exception of a bigger start and better spell (Diffusion + Exhuviation is a lot of hate). Same deal with survivability, standard WHM + BRD supporting that tank and its np.

Seconded, this thread went from wanting advice to Draylo making an idiot of himself... again. Except this time it wasn't on KI.

Man, I love BLU as much as the next guy. It was one of the jobs I played the most... but enough, guy.

RDM has an easier time tanking (the majority of the time).. I've tanked on both jobs.

As for JOL.. since when was tanking him on anything a problem.. Fuck, I did it on SAM/RDM with a MDT/MDB set and refresh/bard songs haha. There is no contest to be had here..


Just because BLU can do something doesn't = zomg best at doing it.
On another note, just because something isn't optimal.. it doesn't make it not-good.

I had a lot of fun tanking shit that I probably shouldn't have on BLU. JOL, HQ Kings, Tia, DI, SW.. etc. Most of those were when the "Proper" tank wasn't around.
