Ok, so. We ended up going to a different strip club, so I was just chillin at the bar while my dude ryan was talking to this thick girl, pretty cute. turns out she's really smart, yadda yadda. Now her friend was named Alize (rofl) and ryan got drunk and was all up on her. I had been eyeing this nice spanish lookin girl for a good portion of the night, and she turns out to be somehow related to Alize. She comes up to sit next to me, not really paying attention to me. so i figure shit, i can play that game too. so i buy myself a drink, pull the wad of 20s out of my pocket, wondering how much of it i'm gonna go through before i get drunk. She laughs, thinking i'm just some kid waving money around to get attention. So i tell her "if i wanted attention, i coulda went to any of these 2-bit whores and gotten it. i'm content to sit here and just watch." So we get in a conversation. She's from texas, half black and half costa rican. 28, 1 kid, dancing to pay for the rest of her nursing school. I called bullshit, but she had scrubs in the back, so i shut up. We talked for a long time, probably 2 hours. buying each other drinks, and basically having a good time, minus her occasional trips up to the stage to dance.

She comes back from one dance, and this wasted puerto rican guy comes stumbling up. he's there with a bachelor party, and they want her and a few other girls to perform. she doesn't wanna talk to the guy, but he's persistent. She goes and does the show, and comes back to chill with me. Dude comes back 6 different times, trying to buy a dance from her. she tells him to fuck off everytime, which amuses me. we talk about our families, and future goals and whatnot, and around that time, a dude comes storming in. He's looking for her, because she knows some girl he was looking for. he snatched her up by her arm, and before i could react, she hit him square in the mouth. He lets go, and she kicked him in the dick and called for the bouncer, who snatched dude up and tossed his ass outside. I'm still amused.

She goes up to dance, so I ask her cousin if she's seeing anyone. Says she is, so meh, whatever, back to drinking. While I may be somewhat of a whore, i won't mess with a taken girl. Closing time arrives, and i tell her "i was gonna ask for your number, but Alize says you're with some guy." She says "ok, don't take my number. but to let you know, he and i broke up a week ago, so let me just get your number." ok, so she takes my number, and i'm fully expecting to hear absolutely nothing from her.

We hug, tell her i'll see her around, we part ways. I don't even get to the truck, and I get a text. tells me to wait up a bit, she'll come talk to me outside. So i wait, while ryan sits down and passes out in the passenger seat. She comes out, says she likes me, wants to see me around more. I tell her i'm getting ready to deploy in a week, so we chat about europe, shit she'd like to see, yadda yadda. We hug again, I hop in the truck. i get a text telling me to follow her. i tell her i've got ryan, but she says to just let him sleep. rofl. We go to her place, pop in a movie, and are just talking, having some beer. I tell her i'm getting tired, because i honestly don't forsee us doing anything. She says i can crash there, i can stay on the couch since i had been drinking. so i thank her, and she tells me to go to her room to grab a pillow. i walk in, and she's right behind me. And business as usual from there.
