    Firefox being dumb.

Alright so I'm updated to top everything on firefox and Windows 7. Randomly it decides to freeze and close and I get the "send your error to mozilla etc." This has happening ever since I've gotten the computer (earlier January) and it's getting particularly frustrating because I'm doing research for a paper and it's freezing every 30 minutes. I never had this problem until I got this laptop. My desktop also has windows 7 and FF, but this hasn't occured with such frequency as it has on my laptop. So... I come here to help resolve this shit because it's really quite annoying. And what happened to the old feature of FF that restores tabs even though it got closed due to an error after it "stopped responding." In previous versions of FF3, it would reopen the tabs when you restarted, but not anymore apparently...

Edit: Speaking of, just opened a tab after I posted it, typed in youtube and the shit froze again... *sigh* I'm very close to just using IE and I don't want to do that.

Uninstall any plugins you have, reinstall the ones you really need.

Most of the time Firefox will crash because of either a. plugins or b. whatever website you're on, the encoding that it's using is crashing it (flash, java, etc.) Try reinstalling Flash or updating your Java if the plugin reinstall doesn't work.
