Man no way, think about it. The guy reading the cue card in the clip has it all wrong. That first death star probably only had minimal forces onboard. All it needs is defense--gunners, tie fighter pilots, some internal security, and some battalions to deploy on ground missions. It would not be efficient to employ military personnel, even if they're clones (you have to devote the energy to make clones, and then train them). You have to have janitors, barbers, canteena operators, entertainment, requisitions, supplies...the empire is going to outsource that kind of stuff to civilian contractors. Luke Skywalker slaughtered over a million people, most of them civilians.

Does everyone really believe that a ragtag group of amateur pilots could possibly destroy a structure so huge and critical guarded by the most powerful empire in the galaxy?
