FFXI Freezing

Ok so...I moved my desktop downstairs last night and since then FFXI has been freezing every 3-4 seconds. My FPS will go from 29.4 to 0.7 or lower then back up to 29.4 within a matter of seconds and it keeps doing it over and over again. Could it be that my graphics card is going to shit or could it be that I fucked something up when I was moving it downstairs (even though I was careful with it)? I did a virus scan, and I had no viruses. My PC is running just fine and every other game I tried playing so far works normally. Any ideas?

Check that your HDD is properly seated, all I can think of relating to a moved computer.

Are you using Windower? What version? What plugins?
What programs do you have in your Startup folder?

I use Windower 3.42 with Recast, Yarnball, etc, etc, but I know it's not my windower because I tried playing without it and I still got the lag. I got 4 gigs of ram, a quad core processor, and a shitty ass Nvidia 8500GT videocard (works well enough to play FFXI at 29.4 fps wherever). This has happened more than once on this desktop (when moving it upstairs and downstairs) so it's an on-going issue. Last time the only way I could fix it was by restoring it and having to reinstall FFXI. Even though I have a much better laptop to play with I would still rather not have to go through the hassle of restoring my desktop to play ffxi.
