And it is making my game absolutely unplayable. I can't even get a tier-1 VNM down without disconnecting at 50% or so. They better fix this shit quick.

This is happening to me as well, trying to play on a friends account for a few days just to pass some time while mine gets restored, this is very frustrating..
AT&T DSL, Mid-west US
Just posting to say that he's getting lag spikes too. If people all over are getting it then it's prolly SE again.
And yea I was supposed to be doing Kirin, but while waiting for people to gather I dc'd twice already, no point logging in everytime I dc during the fight to deal with extra stress. TF2 here I go
Same problem as described by others. On ps2 and xbox systems. AT&T net in Dallas Texas. My net is fine though, streaming video all afternoon without a problem. Can't even stay logged in long enough to make it to the moghouse
Having dc issues as well, AT&T mid-west.
perhaps AT&T is blocking ffxis port? lol
AT&T myself /
I'm on AT&T as well, using PC and in California.
Seen a couple of people shouting about this in WG, large amount of people being effected it seems.
Love disconnecting every 15 minutes while trying to do Campaign.
same problem here
damn annoying and died a couple times now cause of this shit
im eu player - no wireless router
anyone know prob issues by now?
In Bronx, Ny on Optimum Online. Random disconnects here and there make hard to do anything on a free night.
Thought I was the only one. xD
I used to d/c EXACTLY every 30 mins and I use COMCAST cable modem and Have a wireless repeater for my ps3.
I Know what can fix this for comcast users. Get an automatic IP and DNS connection from your system if you are a console player and after you get the connection check your current IP and DNS. once you get it, write it down and do your network setting MANUALLY and type in the IP and DNZ again and save. This will prevent your IP from changing which is what you need because you need a static IP for the next step.
go on your router home page and look for DMZ on the left side if you do not know the FF11 port fowarding numbers.
on the DMZ its says something like 192.168.2. __.
Whatever your IP is, you put the last number right there in the box and check the box enabled.
Whenever your DMZ is on and it matches the correct IP number, you will never d/c ever again. Sometimes when you log on to the game for the first time of the day, you will get a black screen of death though. Just unplug your router and replug it 1 second later. It will load up your game.
The 30 min d/c thing seems to happen when I download too much movies online, comcast seems to make me d/c every 30 mins for about 1 month as a penalty for some reason, then I can remove the DMZ afterwards.
----------
(short Version)
-Make a static IP on your computer or game console.
-Go to your DMZ in the router page and match the IP address and click enable.
It seems like it may have stopped for me. Then again, I've been logged in for a whopping 10 minutes. Which is a record today.
Last d/c for me was 10 minutes ago, I was able to get right back in as opposed to waiting 5+ minutes as has been the case all afternoon. We'll see if it's better or just a fluke.
I'm getting D/C'd a lot myself, Saint Louis, using AT&T U-verse.
Ahh this happened to me a few days ago-- using a college T1 line behind a VPN however.
/shrug
Going an hour-strong now... I'm on a fuckin' roll.
