When it comes to using an advantage in the game that is illegal it only comes down to a few things really. The main issue would be morals. Do you believe in cheating and using any advantages in life to get something you want? Some would argue that is how people should live life to achieve everything they want in life and be successful and there is many cases that prove this works. There's also cases that also show that you knock down a lot of people to the ground and walk all over them while doing so. Main point in the end is what kind of person are you?

Okay well with all those issues aside, most people have done everything in the game and realize to get the very few items left that they need they will be facing an endgame shell that uses bots. Maybe not all their members do, but rest assured at least a majority may. Since Square Enix has no way to detect these bots and cannot do anything about them; wouldn't it be justified to also bot as well to have a 100% fair claim against them instead of being at a disadvantage? Another way to look at it really.

And to all the people that are LOLing over people supposedly purchasing bots with money that these people somehow have shit out of their asses for this bot; a majority of the bot users did not spend one single penny of real life cash for this venture. Most of them have sold drops to other people on their servers and then sold the gil, traded the gil for cash for the packet bot. Basically only a short time investment into the game. More a shell could dominate the more they could get all the money drops and equip their members with bots all the quicker.

You either do or your don't. You will always be at a disadvantage when it comes to endgame HNMs. Perhaps this post will be a clear message to Square Enix that they should put in items to pop all these NM/HNM etc. We shall soon see. Sorry for the wall of text, that was my take on all of this anyways.

Take a look at any of the productive threads on this site and see who's making the most helpful posts and doing math. If anyone has a right to bash me on here, it'd be Pchan, Byrthnoth, CDK, etc.. the people doing things.

While I've already stated that I use Wizbot for PL bot and JA0Wait, I can see how you'd doubt I would refrain from using it on standard NMs.. and you'd be right. However, I don't bother with those NMs in the first place, if you or anyone else can point out a single competed NM I've camped in the last 6 months you would have a point.. but I can't recall a single one. I don't camp kings either, before you stereotype.

On the bright side, at least you understand the comment you made, nobody else seems to.

Except the point is never about the bots themselves but how the people who use them act. You'll never, ever stop people from cheating in a video game online or offline however it is when these people decree themselves to be the "best" and that everyone should aspire to be like them that many lulz are had.

If you cheat, you cheat. Just man up and attribute most of your accomplishments to the cheats and not yourself. Then everything works out to be perfect.

You either have:

A. Someone who vehemently denies using bots yet uses them anyway. When confronted excuses are made of all shapes and sizes as to why they used them.

B. Someone who uses bots openly and "doesn't care" (they do, they really do) what people think. Said person believes they are superior to others when the bot is actually what is causing said superiority to happen.

C. Someone who honestly believes that no one can do anything without cheating. This type of person is so caught up in their own delusion that they'll believe anything they happen to say or type. Anyone who disagrees with them is sub-human or like themselves only deluded.

By the way, endgame isn't only world spawns.

Lots of people being laughably pathetic doesn't dilute how laughably pathetic they all are, that's no justification.

I hate to bring up this old cliche, but how fucking pathetic do you need to be to buy gil, pay other players cash for in-game items, bot, etc.? It's not even the cash part, it's that you feel motivated to cheat. What are you trying to prove? You're trying to play the game as little as possible, so you can't be enjoying it. Do you really care what people you don't know think about your fake character in a video game that much?

Quitting for 2-3 years really screwed up my knowledge of currently acceptable virtual morals. Just to make sure I got it right...Botting/Cheating is okay and
