Last I checked theres a windower plugin that changes gear for you depending on various situations, optimizes gear if theres weather, if you're standing idle, if you're low hp, if you're in dynamis...etc etc, but you're right, wizbot plays the game entirely for you, but plugins are a-ok

Oh boy, this shitty argument again? No windower plugin I know of or use does anything but improve the UI (i.e. by putting recast timers somewhere not buried under a million menus), enhance the graphics (drawdistance), or do something SE tried to do but better (lightluggage, chatmon).

Bots let you use widescan without RNG main or sub, tell you when a monster died and where, stagger all the claimbots in your LS to get past claim delay, and I'm sure some other shit I've never heard of. Game-breaking shit. Shit that is blatantly intended to give the user an advantage over other players.

You can perpetually tab through targets and claim based on name, then kill with as many rules as you want for how to react using spellcast, yet it's okayed by most everyone..

It's a biased description for the purposes of this argument, the plugin was designed to give you many options for controlling your gear swaps as specifically as you'd like, allowing for things like elemental obis and sorcerer's tonban to be used easier. The open ended interface does allow you to make absolutely ridiculous AI though, anyone with a high school education could teach it to bot and solo most mid-tier NMs that don't require kiting.

Also, how is using windower but not spellcast any different than using wizbot and only JA0Wait? I don't give a fuck personally, and wouldn't think any less of anyone for using any of it, but you have to have some sort of consistancy somewhere to have a moral high ground.

Did someone say it was? I wasn't aware people used SC for that but imo it is just as unacceptable.

Most people don't have a problem with your 3rd PT apps until they interfere with another person's enjoyment of the game which is what claim bots are specifically designed to do even if you don't look at it that way.
