Hmm Ragnarok's list is very expected for the most part, though there are a few (hilarious) surprises as well.
Most of them are crap players who are always parked in Aery/Mire/*insert some other HNM location here* with subpar skills and gear who think that a Dalmatica or Ridill is going to fix that.

Ein on Phoenix is pretty shitty. HM is, afaik, the only LS you can join just for Ein. Every other shell is a Sky/Sea/HNM shell that also does Ein. I think I'd have to learn JP to get a shell that does Einherjar onry.

Pretty sure me and Chen told you this on another thread, but Nephilim accepts people for Ein-only, without them coming to other events.

This game is beyond saving. They should have banned the shit out of anyone botting back in the day and put the fear of fucking god in anyone who even thought about it, but instead they dragged their feet with their useless GMs and burden of proof that would frustrate the ACLU.

Well said Priran, could not agree more with all the posts. I will say there are many people I know playing who feel the same as us. Many that I know are Japanese and will not post here, although they find the bot list for Diabolos particularly comical since we had several aggressive confrontations with said people while camping Ixion and Sand Worm. The rest who are NA players just don't care to bother with cheaters/gil buyers/etc other than comical reasons.

Unfortunately we had to accept years ago that cheating in this game would not be stopped and it has become another obstacle in the HNM scene just like any other obstacle to progression in FFXI. There are ways around it, albeit Einjar etc, but it's still just a substitute for fixing the real problem. But you never know, sometimes SE surprises us with some actions.

Fortunately for us there seems to be a pattern in which they will bot everything they ever wanted or thought they wanted then quit the game and sell characters.

You are entitled to the people who are ruining your experience by cheating being banned. I trust you will be as happy as I will if that ever actually happens.

As a rule, the few anti-botting people left acknowledge that Square's half-assed enforcement of their rules is as much to blame for this as the people who choose to cheat. But no, nobody is off the hook for their own actions as long as there are people in endgame or being kept out of endgame who refuse to play along.
