There is a way to make bots completely obsolete at HNM camps and here's how.

NM pops yellow and stays yellow for 5 seconds. During this window *anyone* can attack it and get on it's hate list. After 5 seconds claim is assigned randomly to someone on the hate list.

Bots are now useless. Claiming is completely random but without bots it would be random anyway so nothing has changed.

So I just make everyone 3box at camps and have like 60 botters on to increase my chances. Since it would be harder for a legit player to 3box target/attempt to claim something.

If you're playing multiple characters at once, it makes claiming more difficult since you have to divide your attention between multiple characters. Of course, this assumes no bots as you mentioned.
