There's a guy on QCDN posting that they just got an email invite for the next wave... looks legit in the wording - but there is a large idiot quotient who post on that site so take with pinch of salt and go spam your inboxes.

*1 Only users with Japan-based Square Enix accounts will be able to log in.

not really, they prolly haven't added the newly selected players to the alpha because they aren't ready for them yet. yes you are selected and SE notified you, but they aren't quite ready yet for the new guys.

gonna bet they go ahead and do this saturday test with the original testers then next week start with alpha 2 and a new wave of players to go with it.
