You can't apply without a POL id as activation is done via your account ( no codes/etc to apply ).

Sorry what I meant is if you created a new ID (unrelated to a past XI account) just to sign up.

Nobody that sighned up for the PS3 beta with the FFXIII code is going to receive anything from Square Enix until they start sending out the PS3 beta invites. You'll just probably have a higher chance of getting invited during that time which is going to be beta phase 2. Don't worry, Square Enix has your application still. Even if something happens to the notification Email that tells you that you've been invited to be a beta tester, you can still check by logging in here: "secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/Login?cont=account"]//secure.square-enix.com/account/app/svc/Login?cont=account and then click on the "Confirm Membership Status" or was it the "Confirm Service History".

That is a big relief. Thanks guys for putting that worry to rest for me lol. Now if they would only release some info on the payment plan to see if I can afford to even play it.

Its June 2nd... no sign or any indication at all in my SE account that I'm in the beta which I got the e-mail for on the 28th such as the other members here. Also can't log in to the test server. I'm optimistic it will work later in the day, but I was just hoping for a midnight login.

Serious? It's not even 1AM EST. They usually begin working with things at around 4AM EST at the earliest.

Most likely. Earlier someone who was with the 28th bunch said he wasn't able to log in right away when they were sent out (about 3am-ish give or take depending on time zone), but he had to wait until morning until his account said he was registered and was able to log in

Same here. Received the email on 28, and email said site would be active on 28. I still haven't seen what this tester site look like pass the login >_>

The new testers are for Alpha stage 2 which hasn't started yet so I doubt SE cares too much if people haven't had the time to download the client for this weeks tests.

I can't access in the beta forums neither (it says june 7 for it).

When i logged onto the website they linked me in the email it said it was down for maintenence.

Is it back up just that we cant access anything anymore then?

You can confirm/activate the service on June 7th then, most likely. The guy I quoted should be able to activate it today.

FYI, my email said I'd have access today, on the 2nd, and I was able to log in around 6 AM CST. Slooowly downloading the client as we speak.

I've gotten nothing from them for months. Guess SE just avoiding me or something. Thanks for replying, at least I know its nothing related to yahoo based accounts. I just must be unlucky.

I've registered for the ps3 beta only, maybe that has something to do with why I'm not getting any updates from SE since March lol. Hopefully when the beta2 phase nears, I'll get something then.

I get newsletters and I got the extension of the alpha email. I use Yahoo email
