Not all testers are FFXI players, current, former or ever. Which is good, Square should find ways to expand the player base.

I suppose you're right, was thinking they might still do "current players only", but we're not on alpha1 anymore.

was the uTorrent supported or is that something you kind of have to place files in the right direction yourself and etc? Also where are the links for torrenting

Just go to My Documents > My Games > FFXIV Alpha folder (I had no idea ffxiv would make this folder, that was half the reason i didnt know how the fuck to do it) > Downloads > ffxiv alpha > b28ad053 > metainfo and open the uTorrent file in that folder.

it operates like any other uTorrent from there.
