My account for the alpha lasts until july 9th might be the beta then?

The duration of all alpha accounts are only 1 month at a time. I'm guessing they all auto-renew on the end-date.

Just got an alpha invite the other day and logged into the alpha for tonight but it was so laggy I couldn't do anything, is this normal or is it something on my side? My comp specs are all above the system reqs but my CPU is a AMD quad core 2.3 GHZ, would this be a problem? Kinda bummed I was super excited to log in then got a super lag feast

either you were on a heavily popul;ated server, possibly that or you should be looking at getting a better graphics card that can handle the game.

Thats not to sayt those are the only causes, I suspect its just that so many people trying to log in at once.

If you're on Window 7, you might want to disable Aero Desktop if it's active. It was causing huge lag issue to a friend of mine.

quad core 2.3ghz should be fine, if your graphic card is high enough.

hello guys... i'm having trouble login in to the alpha client. the past 3 test i keep getting error 13001 the loby sever connection has encounter an error. error code 1001 status 3. how do i fixed this. i got invited in the eu test, but using the NA servers. could that be the problem? thanks in advance.

There are no NA or EU servers, they are all the same. You can only log into them at certain times depending on what region you belong to.

If your trying to login during the NA window but your an EU tester, then you will always get that error.

If your an EU tester you can only login during the EU times slot.

Not necessarily. What the article said was there would be some delay, but that we shouldn't have to wait an entire month for beta. 2-3 weeks is my bet.

I have a question, when a game goes from Alpha to Beta is it typical for everything to be wiped? I assume that when the Beta comes out our characters will be deleted and we have to start over, but I haven't ever been in an Alpha or Beta before so it's hard to say.

I have only been in a few betas, but I have seen it to be rather common for several wipes during the beta. We know for sure they will wipe when beta starts for the new battle system (as they have said in the past) but other than that, who really knows how many wipes we will see during the beta.(if any more between beta > closed beta)
