anyone else unable to log into the website today? Not sure what happened but every time I try to log in I get this on a white screen

Basically it's saying query borked. Clear cache or whatever on Firefox (if you're using) and it solves that.

Im short on space because im running on a 74gb Raptor, just curious think the Beta download will use any files already there from the Alpha or a completely new 4gb+ download?

Dont want to remove it and add 10 hours to my download if i dont have to..

99.9% chance it will be an entirely new client and they will have you delete the old. Too many changes from alpha build to beta to use the same files. Full grpahical/lighting update will be basically replacing everything in the game.

And as usual... depending on your connection it should take anywhere from 1-2hrs to all day to DL

Does that mean you have been accepted into the beta, i.e new invites have been sent out or you have just recieved the standard email everyone else is getting about the client being ready to download on the 2nd ?

S-E said there won't be any new invites until beta starts. They want to test things with Alpha users first, and after some time will send invites to more people.

new client, too many changes from alpha > beta. can't rly use old client even to copy stuff since its undergone a graphical overhaul
