Don't forget that what you see on the feedback part of the forums is not the whole picture. The reports submitted via the actual automated bug report form make up the majority of the bug reports and are probably all technical in nature, considering the questions it asks you and fields you fill out. There's no way for us to count those reports, since only SE sees them.
See if you can get someone you know to test your account, do you have a gamepad, try using that.
Yay for HP count not being updated from the server. Random deaths when you have full health are cool.
so if i'm understanding this correctly:
JP test: perfect
EU test: perfect
NA test: epic fail
2 steps forward 1 step back gg.
I left the game on and went to shower and now it works fine. Finally getting to try it out xD
Ugh. So I finally found out how Refill works with Archer after all this time, and boy do I feel HERPDERPish. =/
Refill fills up your equipped ammo (Your quiver) with the same ammo type you have in your inventory that is not equipped. So underwhelmed now.
Seems there are no recipe books for crafters, hope we aren't going to have to check the net for recipes like in FF11.
I seriously hope they will add a recipe book later on in beta.
There was a guy in the guilds that told you recipes
While I 100% agree with you, there is also tools to consider.
For example, you can have both main hand and off hand crafting tools, and from what I understand so far, different combination of those tools may produce different results for the same set of mats.
Any type of recipe database accessible in game would either need to be fairly complex I would think.
Seems when you craft you select the crafting item/s and the crystal/s are automatically applied to what you have selected, for example you can add items to the crafting window and it will say you don't have enough crystals to make this item.
After making an item you get the chance to refine it further, with the chance of obtaining a +1 item.
Crafting guildleves supply you with temporary items which you use to complete the leve, you obtain money, crafting material and crystals for completion.

I duno about complex all you need is to have a list of recipes (you have learned) for the class you have equiped and when you select it you can look up what you need to make that synth, which could include tools.
Even better if you have the items in your inventory you could automatically switch to those tools and start crafting.
I know the alpha test isn't here for us to "enjoy". But they should at least try to make it to the point that it's not frustratingly bad.
I don't think I'm going to participate in the tests much more until CB1.
Or lets someone you trust use your account during Alpha, kind of waste not to take part if you ask me.
You, like countless naive and starry-eyed teens before you, have discovered that game testing isn't actually fun and is in fact, frustratingly bad. This is nothing new, really, and I'm always surprised that people expect that playing unstable, unfinished builds of a game for the primary purpose of testing will be fun. There's a reason game testers make good money, and that's because it's a soul-crushing job.
