Random Resident Evil 2 question

I just beat the game on scenario A with Leon and going through scenario B with Claire. I was wondering after I beat scenario B with Claire would it be worth my time to do Scenario A with Claire and Scenario B with Leon or is there no difference added to the story if I do that?

You have to beat Scenario R to unlock the bicep gun.

Both scenarios are worth doing. There isn't that much that changes, mostly everything stays the same with exception to how your sub characters (Sherry/Ada) go about stuff. There are also differences in what they say, but the overall plot and progression is basically the same.

I think the canon is Leon A and Claire B. Also, going through all the scenarios (I think there's an order, I can't remember it though) with an A rank unlocks Hunk and Tofu's side mission.

Well in the latest "remake" if you would call it, on the wii Resident evil darkside chronicles it is a bit different. Would seem Leon B not A .

It's been a while since I played it, but I think Leon B is Canon. The most supporting evidence I can think of at the moment is that Leon was driving the car in the beginning and he goes out the driver's side if you do Leon B. I will have to replay it though for a more definitive answer.

Yes, B scenraios are definitely worth going for. Areas are more or less the same but there is so much sub-character involvement.

Thinking on it more I would have to agree with you now. Though the car thing is mostly subtle as I remember it. I think the things with Ada near the end, the anti-virus bits and Claire staying with Sherry make most sense. As well as it makes sense for Birkin to be chasing Sherry and Claire rather than Leon and Ada.

I think most of the confusion comes from Capcom labling the scenarios disc 1 and 2, so most people play Leon A and Claire B first (like I did) and think its canon.

I never played the playstation version, only N64 I believe and Gamecube which both only have 1 cartridge or disc.
