I probably won't do shit and will forget. Maybe after I miss it I will go out to eat with her and my grandma and sister but good luck with getting my mom to actually do anything with my grandma. They are annoying that way.

Does not stabbing the heartless bitch in the face count as a gift? Cause if so I'm getting her that and some tulips.
Different perspective:
I'm a mom! Granted my daughter is 6 so it's not exactly the same thing but while the standard (flowers/card etc) will always be appreciated, what means the most to moms is to know that you recognize what they have done for you. Instead of browsing a website for some flowers and sending off a card, try taking some time out of your day to remember specific things she has done for you - they can be big or small and write them down and thank her for them. That will mean more to her than anything you can buy.
When I still lived at home, got my mom a yearly gift certificate to the spa.
Killed two birds with one stone.
Mom went to the spa, pops went golfing and I had the house all to myself until dinner time (which I prepared as well).
