some of my favorites are:
Earth Intruders, Declare Independence, and Wanderlust from Volta by Björk. all perfect for running
a bunch of random Sleater-Kinney songs that no one would know (Everything is my favorite for running, but their cover of Angry Inch is great too)
pretty much anything by Lady GaGa that's not a ballad
yeah I don't run much.

It's not my preferred type of music to just listen too, but after many, many hours running and at the gym I've found A State of Trance works well.
They're two hours long, there's over 400 of them, and they're easily available.
Single songs take too long to go through and load up on the mp3 player, plus I get bored of them fast.
Of course, A State of Trance gets pretty boring as well, but it at least keeps a beat going.

I usually listen to TOOL while I work out, or go for a jog. There is a steep hill that I've been trying to conquer though (run up and down it without stopping) and every time I'm about to run up the hill, I put on Puscifer's Trekka. Perfect song to get those legs pumping!

Didn't want to make a new thread for this and it kinda has to do with OP so putting it here. I'm looking for some kinda techno'y-electronica type dance music. Most of my electronica doesn't have a solid enough beat to it and this is kind of uncharted territory for me

What type of BPM are you looking for? If it's 170~210 I'd suggest Happy/UK Hardcore and Gabber. For lower bpm Eurodance is also really good imo, some songs are still popular enough that people know them without knowing the genre.
Here are some of my favorites of eurodance: bad boys blue - i wanna hear your heartbeat
chou project - jungle in my heart
dj satomi - castle in the sky
groove coverage - runaway
lacuna - celebrate the summer
real mccoy - another night
etc
Also, Mulan - I'll make a man out of you

His shit sucks. Listen to this:
Mustard Pimp- Cherry
Simon says - Pharoahe Monche( Mikey Mix remix)
Start- LBCK
Rick Ross - Hustlin (The Disco Villains FRESCO RMX)
DImmakmmunication- The Bloody Beetroots
One republic- All the right moves(Danger remix)
Coburn- We reinterrupt this programm(tai and brave remix)
I Might Like Ghosts Better (Amanda Blank vs. Bad Cabbage vs. Deadmau5 mashup)
These are just a few good ones and will get you pumped as shit and are way better then that shit the guy above me put.

Good channel for all up to date trance songs in 10 min mixes. Usually Trance or Happy Hardcore for me when working out.
