Hi all. I'm returning to FFXI after having not played for roughly a year. Before I was on Asura I transferred from Gilgamesh to play with a friend. He quit a short time after the Salvage bans, and the salvage bans themselves erased most of the people played with on the server. A short while later I quit because there were only a few people left I knew and they didn't play at the same time as I.

Because I've been gone so long most of the shells/people I know on both servers are sort of spread out. There are a couple people on Asura who said they'll ask their shell about me, but really I'm trying to get a handle on if I should stay on Asura now that it's eaten Pandy's population or if I should go back to Gilgamesh where I started. I do not know if many people I know still play there. Or if there's somewhere else that's interested, hell I'm not picky.

2: Fynecia (not yet reactivated)
WHM @ 75 (Taru)

Both Have sky/sea access.

1: I'm giving myself a month before I make any ruling on server transfer. I figure if I'm not sick of the game once the thrill of being back has worn off I'll probably stay around.
2: I can't really provide references since as I said, its been a year and most of the people I know quit.
