Graduating next week and want to look my best. I tried the crest white strips a couple years ago and really liked them, but was wondering if anyone has used any recently that they'd recommend?

BG Dental?
Crest White Strips have worked for me I guess.
Everyone i've talked to said Crest whitening strips did the best.
I got some Crest strips off ebay that had supposedly more % peroxide or whatever plus an additional week, they worked well. This was 7 years ago, though.
I think Crest even has a 5-or-7 day set that you can use to get the full effect before graduation, but as far as I know, all brands "work" for the most part. If you're interested, you can check this out, though: http://www.consumersearch.com/teeth-whitening
Don't use strips, they're hard to put on, tear easily and hard to keep on. Use one of the mouth pieces that you can put the gel in.
Protip
I use the Crest Whitestrips pro. They have worked the best for me, and I have even used the mouthguard gel. I do it twice a day, and the results are amazing. However, don't drink coffee or soda during the day if you plan to be serious about it. It totally ruins the whole process. I have friends that drink that stuff and use strips and they bitch about how it doesn't work. Ugh.
Anyways, Crest Whitestrips Pro.
Actually I've experienced the opposite. Crests' strips worked fine for me, you just have to apply it properly and that's it. The mouth pieces on the other hand, were a bit painful. I guess I have sensitive teeth.
Last, depending on the shade of your teeth you'll get different results. If you have whiteish skin your yellow teeth stand out even more. Looks like someone grabbed a yellow marker and went crazy w/ it ;x
I used the gel/trays thing a couple of years ago, before I got married. Results were amazing, but they were a bit pricey because I got them from my dentist. Honestly though, made my teeth noticeably different, but not so white that they looked fake. Do recommend.
Not for people with sensitive teeth though. They do hurt a bit.
My understanding is that for the most part you have to use the real gel stuff to actually get them whiter by cleaning them, whereas the strips and the gum and shit basically just bleach the nastiness colorwise.
Professional mold + Colgate Visible White syringes. Everything else is lackluster or snake oil imo.
Crest white strips for me. They make my teeth sensitive as hell, though.
Whitestrips didn't work for me - and pretty much all I drink is water. I would recommend getting it professionally done if you want reliable results in a week.
Seriously, just do this. With as much money as you will end paying for other methods. You can get a permanent mold + 1-2 guards (depends on how nice your dentist is). From there you only need 1 syringe a month which runs about 20~30. No sensitivity, and doesn't destroy the enamel like most of the OTC whitening solutions do.
Move to europe - where nobody gives a shit.
Just don't go overboard on the whitening. Teeth are supposed to be pearl, not bleached bright white.
There's a girl at work who has freakishly white teeth and every time she opens her mouth it looks weird because they are so white.
Not sure how much interest there is in this, but dropping this off in case anyone wants to take advantage: 20-Pack Crest 3D White Advanced Vivid Whitestrips $22
hijacking. does insurance cover braces, invisline or any part of that? i have fuckkkkkked up teeth and want to straighten/whiten them.
depends on the kind of coverage you have on the insurance itself. my job's insurance doesnt cover anything but regular cleaning and a few other misc operations, which is why its feasible to only have 10$ taken out from my paychecks. however, every job is different. your job might have more coverage than mine would and you would probably want to double check the benefit availabilities from the dental plans themselves. my other part time job actually covers it if you're full time. my friend just got her son's braces done and she only had to pay a 40$ deductible, i think? just double check
