Wireless Network Adapter issues

So until last week, I had 0 issues with my USB network adapter. It started to disconnect or have a shitty connection every so often, and the temporary solution to fix it was to take the USB out and reinsert it. Well, last night my internet shat out, and I couldn't just do the reinserting fix anymore. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, and absolutely everything and nothing seems to work. My computer recognizes it, but for some reason the actual card itself doesn't seem to kick in and when I check on its status in the cmd prompt it says that it's disconnected. It doesn't show up in my networks either. I've tried pretty much anything that's been said to fix it, and nothing is happening.

I'll probably get shit for it, but it's a Belkin G 802.11g - 54 Mbps adapter. F5D7050 P74470-H. I know belkin is absolute garbage but this thing was working perfectly up until a few days ago. Anybody have any experience with it? If I can't figure it out, I'm just gonna go buy a new card from a different company.

Have you checked if the router is working ok, tried hooking up your computer through a wired connection?

Yep, I'm connected to it atm and it works perfectly fine and it shows up in network connections.

I also checked wireless on other sources outside of my network adapter and those are working perfectly fine as well, just seems to be the adapter.

I have been having the same problem for a month or too. My internet for my dad and I (Both wireless) will cut off, and by right clicking then doing diagnose and fix, will eventually fix it. I would just unplug my USB adapter and plug it back in and it would fix it. The 5 ascending bars for the wireless connection has an exclamation point too. Do you have Cox arvin?

Nope, comcast. We're actually as I'm typing this getting it swapped to AT&T though and I'm not sure if that's a wise choice.
