If you constantly keep trying it will eventually let you progress through POL and log in but it's probably not worth it because of the constant lag and R0

UK Virgin Media and been trying for 90mins. Others in my LS on Virgin Media can't get on either >< I actually got some way through POL to log in but everything turned bright red ~.~ Not a good sign.

It is a routing issue.

My routes via highwings, Telia are definately not working .
My routes via Level3 and NTT reach the square servers fine.
My home connection just stopped being able to ping it, seeing the route changed to twtelecom as well.

If the SE staf has a somewhat competent noc they should have noticed this by now and start bitching. But it can take anywhere from 1 to 48 hours.

Problem seems to be that the route advertised is a lot shorter then the route normally announced by square, hence the traffic is going in that direction.
Something similar happened a year ago when a Pakistani ISP announced the ip's of youtube.

Edit; as a result the boxes I checked in paris/london are now no longer able to reach it as well, they all have picked the route to the twtelecom one.

Edit2: My machine in japan is now having the same issue as well.

I'm getting constant R0's for like 30+ seconds then being fine for 5-10 seconds in any of the original areas. Fine in like Whitegate, Nyzul, Hazhalm, etc. Soon as I was in Bastok, Windy, Saruta, Horutoto, etc then it R0's whenever it needs to load up fresh mobs/npcs or need to act on something like a door or talk to an npc.

I got them pretty much everywhere before, zoned into Al Zahbi and took 5 minutes for the door to open.

Got on after 2hrs. Tried to zone to MH after R0ing through the entire zone. It said 'cannot enter next area' black screened and DC me and completely exited me. Was on for 30 sec woooo. Oh and Virgin Media is reporting no faults :<
