Was wondering where Lead & Gold was on my Canadian PSN, nice to know it was for EU only so far. ;/
At any rate, nothing of interest to me the past while. Last week the Final Fight: Double Impact interested me, but $10 for two decently emulated arcade titles is a bit much to ask. I wanted something to play this week though so I sucked it up and bought Afterburner Climax since a friend has been bugging me about it the past month.
[EDIT] I'm also still waiting on Sony to start offering shows/movies/music/comics in the Canadian store. I've no idea why they forced all those new PSN shortcuts on the XMB when literally all of them lead to a blank page.
[EDIT2] Hold it a second, did yesterdays system update remove them or something? They're not there anymore after I just went to double-check my blank-page statement.
I have to say though, on first impressions, Afterburner is fast and slick. Perfectly smooth 60fps, one of the prettier 3d titles I've downloaded even though the arcade original dates back to 2006. Kinda like a stupidly fast-paced version of Star Fox (all on rails) with high emphasis on precision shooting and missile dodging. Makes me kinda want a flight-stick since analog isn't doing it for me.
(that's not to say the analog sucks, it's tweaked perfectly for the game, just it's hard to do subtle adjustments with dualshock3's sticks)

I was thinking about Afterburner but from what I hear you can do literally every bit of content in the game in 1.5-2 hours. Can't convince myself to lay down $10 for a couple hours on rails ><

People had no problem paying $15 for Braid or Portal, and both were just an hour longer. ;/
I'll be getting my money's worth anyhow as I like perfecting these style of arcade games, that and there's a few medals to earn in the score attack mode.

Oh I'm not bashing your decision or anything, just saying it looks like something I really want to play, but I can't get past $10 for barely a movie's worth of entertainment (and no, I don't buy movies either heh.)
And yeah the thing I read included all those trophies in getting it done so fast, even mentioned that something as simple as making some of the trophies harder would have given a decent boost to replayability.

If that's what they're essentially putting on the NA store as well as Agarest, only thing that interests me are the Mega Man 10 add-ons, even if it is just Capcom milking me for extra pennies.

Pixeljunk sale, the bundle for $10 is a good deal if you like quirky little games, I paid full price for it way back and had a good time.
Dark Forces on PSX I was tempted to grab, but I still own the original for PC so I passed.
Grabbed the Mega Man 10 DLC in a heartbeat though, been waiting ages for Endless mode. Slightly tempted to pay the outrageous price for Bass though for the sake of having all the DLC purchased for the game. ;/
(I know I'd buy all the MM9 DLC if Capcom had a bundle for 50% off on it, I'd love to try out its Hard difficulty and endless mode)
[EDIT] Fuck these new special stages for MM10 are brutal, and the boss attacks take a large chunk of your health. -.- Oddly enough I'm finding that all of MM10's best music come from the DLC stages. Just a shame they design them to be challenging more than 'fun'.
Also, one of the endless mode areas is 6 rooms of back-2-back disappearing block action!........with fully spiked floors.

Pretty weak update unless you're a fan of being shortchanged for DLC. ;/
Anyways, does anyone know if the Epilogue dlc for Prince of Persia is worth getting? I wasn't that big a fan of it, but I wouldn't mind paying $5 to see how they fix the train-wreck of an ending the game had, and finish my trophy completion from 74% to 100%.

For 5 bucks I'd definitely get it. I might be biased, since I went into PoP expecting very little and it turned out to be one of my favorite games of last year, and the epilogue is just more of the same.
I'd pick it up if you're interested in seeing how the story ends... especially since Ubisoft could very well keep being a bag of dicks about making a sequel and this could very well be all we get.
edit: also I have been a complete nerd about downloading free disgaea 3/cross edge/agarest war DLC even though I don't own the games. I figure I might as well just grab them in case they decide to start charging or something, lol

It's only about 2-3 hours long. I got two play-throughs out of it for trophies. It's considerably more difficult than the main game (at least I thought so), and you fight the same boss three or four times (the amount he blocks is infuriating). It does make for a better ending, IMO, but it leaves it totally open for a sequel which I doubt we'll ever see. I rather liked the game as a whole and thought the DLC was pretty enjoyable, even if it only did add an extra couple evenings' worth of play.

Alrighty, I'll grab it if only because it'll never be cheaper, and I hate having platinum'd games that show under 100% thanks to DLC >.>
I'm also going to bite my lip and grab the MM9/10 DLC I don't have just for the sake of having it. >.>

Did they ever make that Tetris mini PS3 compatible?
Last I checked, the last time EA had a sale on the thing it was still one of the very few PSP-only minis out. It's expensive for a Tetris game, but damnit, I wouldn't mind any form or Tetris on my PS3 none the less.
