On Mac, I notice they have a feature that allows all windows to be up at the same time (Side by side I think?). Is this possible on Windows?

No, but they have flip 3D I think it's called in Win7
Start + Tab if you're running aero IIRC
There's always Alt + Tab <.<
Damn. I was hoping to type while looking at another screen without having to resize the windows.
Gonna need a picture to know what feature you're talking about. (As I'm interested in how you can manage to have all windows open at the same time and still know wtf is going on.)
Sounds like a situational version of (windows key + arrow keys) to me. It works well when you only have a few windows open I guess.
I'll check out the link, but to respond to the earlier question, I was thinking about being able to type on one window without overlapping another. I could achieve this by resizing windows, but I was hoping for an automatic means of doing this.
For example, if I have two windows open, one with Microsoft Word and one with the internet, I would like to type on Microsoft word while reading something on the internet without having to click each window when I want to see it.
In Win7 has a feature that might help you. If you drag a window to the far left of your desktop edge it will occup the left half of your screen. Drag the other window to the far right and it'll occupy the right evenly. Of course you'll need a big screen to achieve best view (unlike the bottom examples).

EDIT*
win key + arrow does the same effect
That works! Thanks~
Windows key+up, or dragging the window to the top will also maximize. Shaking the window with the mouse will cause all other windows to close. Windows key + d will shrink everything. There's a lot of nice shortcuts that people don't know about.![]()
Windows key tab is a fun alt-tab <_<
I didn't even know about that feature when I had Vista until I clicked a button on my mouse that did that.
I think its actually ubuntu running on mac
Guess this would fit here
