With an Enchanced ID system, and tougher standards, the example still remains. The only people who need to have their proper IDs with them are non-citizen legal immigrants.

The problem is that police are also going to be requesting IDs from people who don't need to have any ID on them - those being U.S. Citizens.

I'm not really sure how to respond to your hypothetical situations, to be honest, because I bring my ID with me every time I leave the house. I mean, isn't that what most people do?
