I can understand the fix about death strike, but why the threat fixes to druid ? ;/
Shield bash removed is pretty lol (useless ability now, but still)
the only differences between shield bash and pummel was the stance you had to be in to use it. Redundant, or extremely similar abilities got pruned bigtime in WotLK, bash/pummel was just one of the ones that slipped through.
Can't help but laugh at the intercept stun changes though. Battlegrounds sure will be fun to be a caster in now!
Shield bash was 12 second cooldown for no goddamn reason when every other melee interrupt is 10 sec.
Good riddance.
Well they could've reduced the cooldown, the only drawback would be stance-dance, but I dont see much of an impact since most prot pvp are flag carriers, and stance.dancing in raids doesnt seem too game breaking.
I meant, reduce the cooldown on shield bash and keep pummel the way it was, they could've also done that way back when rebuke went baseline for paladins.
4.1 trailer
The boulder run took me by surprise. The new heroics should be fun to farm for mounts, I reckon.
Guild leader said that Al'akir will be dropping tier tokens now? Has a chance to drop either shoulder or helm tokens. Anyone able to confirm this? I didn't see any mention in the 4.1 notes, maybe it's 4.2? But I havn't seen any 4.2 notes at all really.
Regardless I like the change, gives people a reason to actually do TotFW
Ask the Devs #4
Q: I feel that the current item drop ratio per part for caster's is little bit weird. While belt slot items are very common, wrist and ranged (wand) item are drastically rare. Now players don't like going to Throne of the Four Winds because belt and pants are so easily acquired via other way. What if the drops of Throne of the Four Winds changed into rare slot items, such as wrist and wand? - 빛그리고사제 (Korea)
A: There are a few issues embedded in this question. One is that while we like the random nature of the Throne of the Four Winds gear overall, it occupies a strange niche in the current itemization scheme. Al'Akir for example is fairly challenging, but so are Cho'gall and Nefarian. The net result is that many players lack epic legs, heads or shoulders and so have a strong incentive to spend Valor Point on their tier set of legs. By the time they defeat Al'Akir, nobody wants his legs. We plan on tweaking those loot tables a little for 4.1; Al'Akir will drop some random necks and cloaks as well as helm or shoulder tokens in addition or in some cases instead of his current loot.
As far as some items being rarer than others, that is the kind of thing we vary so that every tier of content doesn’t feel like a photocopy of the previous tier with bigger numbers. Our PvP gear for a variety of reasons has become very formulaic, and we don’t want the same thing to befall PvE. Bracers are hard to get now (though the trolls in 4.1 have a lot!), but next tier it might be a different item that becomes precious.
They're silent on the issue, but does anyone know if the BoA items are still realm-bound or can I finally move items between realms?Account Bound Items
Many "Account Bound" heirlooms are now labeled as "Battle.net Account Bound", meaning that they can also be traded or mailed to characters that are on different World of Warcraft accounts under the same Battle.net account.
Mail sent to characters on the same Battle.net account now arrives instantaneously, as it does for the same World of Warcraft account.
Mailing account-bound items to characters of the opposite faction on the same Battle.net account will now correctly translate faction-specific items to their appropriate equivalent.
I can't find it right now but it's in a DEV Q&A Somewhere, I tracked back a few pages on MMO Champ but can't see it still, perhaps it's a blue post but basically still realm bound and that the functionality to mail it across realms is "really complex", something along those lines.
I believe they are still realm bound, but can cross over on your multiple B.net accounts. From what ive heard this really only effects multiboxers, who want to get a bunch of BoA gear on their main and then toss it on all their alts. I could be wrong but that was the general idea I got from people talking about it and gamebreaker.tv's little episode about it.
Just checked with a friend from Blizz, they're still Realm bound.
blizz didn't change the green gem price after all

yes they did. Cut green gems are 75silver to NPC. Raw gems are 5g.
