That's what happens when you loosen up the definition of a 'subscriber' to include Chinese net cafe players who log in once every three months.

Wow's numbers were always really inflated due to a lot of reasons. RAF and multiple accounts now being consolidated into bnet accounts as well as china. I still have 2 active accounts and have canceled about 5 in the past year or 2 thanks to bnet/raf.
Yor'sahj looks amazing, but oh god it's going to kill LFR raids for months.
I would also argue that WoW had over-saturated numbers to begin with. All games a have certain carrying capacity, and during Wrath they actually had a bunch of people that they knew there was no way they were going to keep them. I think the Cataclysm world remake was partially a stab at keeping some of those people, but in the end it was going to be futile. A decline was inevitable. There were casuals, and then there were people that were never going to play WoW for more than a year no matter what. While no game wants to lose subscribers, for a more long-term player, getting rid of those players is probably on-balance good for content.

Is it me or this raid is easier than any other raids we have seen before (on normal at least)? We one shotted the first 4 bosses with very little knowledge of the actual fight in like 1 hour and half. We wiped on trash a few times, but yeah, its only because the tentacles were homo.
yup, facerolled first 5 bosses then one of our tanks got internet problem, gonna try the rest tomorrow.
Yeah raid was extremely easy so far, on Ultraxion now and left there for the night, had him to 50% after a few wipes and ppl not knowing where the button was on their UI and general tiredness since it was 30mins before raid end. Other bosses were push overs.
raid is super easy, killed first 5 bosses in one night and 1 shot the first 2 we did. Don't get why content is so easy for the last major raid. It's just not awesome when you clear 5/8 NM in one night of raiding and your gonna have this tier for the next 5+ months. [inb4dHM is real content]
HM is gonna be the real content, and supposedly heroic deathwing gonna be even more retardedly hard than pre nerf h rag
I don't mind blasting through normal content if this update last 3 months, but banging our head against HM mode for 6 months isn't going to be fun. Lack of progress is the worse thing that can happen to the guild's moral.
Heroic Rag no longer Geysers in P4. If your guild hasn't killed it before, no excuse anymore.
holy shit raid finder is awesome, super undertuned and easy, and it's only 384 loot so not like it's a big deal
also separate save from main raid
Yeah I'm actually liking Raid finder. A good group can completely ignore some mechanics and just blow over a boss. Sucks I can't roll on something if i've beaten the boss before that week, even if I never got a drop, though :/
Min ilvl to get into raid finder?
I know I have some work to do, that's not surprising considering I last played right around 4.1, but if it's easy as everyone keeps saying it is, I may actually try it. I phear raiding with regular raid groups because I'll be honest, I suck. Lol.

Run a week of new 5 mans and you're in!
And with 24 other possibly brain dead people clumped together, just sit there, do moderate dps/healing, and /popcorn while everyone moans.
It's seriously raiding with training wheels. Brilliant idea on blizz's part, though it should probably reward at least jp or something once you've done it, 80 gold at the end isn't exactly going to entice people to keep it busy lol.
You get something like 350 VP for completing a block don't you?
Edit: How are the new 5 mans, do I need to go in and convince randoms to CC stuff again like at the early days of trollroics?
