The main problem with the Troll bears right now is that they're very obviously NE bear reskins with tusks.

Well, by 'cat form' he might just mean the DD that's usually a cat. Just like if thebear form looked like a rhino in Troll's case, it would still be the 'bear form'....maybe

The point is that Blizzard already has a wolf model in the game, and it has at least some animations. Why would you create a cat form for a race that is half-wolf?

I know that the other druid races would then complain that they don't get their own special forms, but come on... you have a were-wolf race that changes into a cat instead of a wolf?

And the new troll and worgen bear forms are pretty bad already...

None of this is relevant if they do give worgens a wolf model for DPS feral, of course.

I understand what you are saying, but given that both Worgen and Troll are just getting the standard bear with a few (neon-colored) changes, I am thinking that it is at least possible that they give Worgens the cat model.

Trolls won't get a rhino, the rhino represents a different character of animal spirit entirely and wouldn't fit. They'll be bears with tusks, I'm sure.

Wolves don't embody stealth and agility like cats do, it doesn't fit the mantra of their abilities. That said, I don't entirely disagree that it feels off to have worgen shapeshifting into cats. I'm not sure what other solution there is, though, because it doesn't feel quite right to just have them get down on all fours or something either.

Hmmm...Frankly, I think they did a good job with the worgen & troll cat forms.

Worgen's Cat looks a lot more buff than the other forms and while the Troll cat lacks a bit of finish, I'm really diggin the Mohawk/Tiger stripe thing they're doing here.

Jesus, Worgen Cat and Bear Forms look like Rabid beasts of death and destruction... Troll Cat looks nice and tribal, but bear looks a bit... odd, with its neon colors. Either way they're both much better than NE and Tauren forms.

I agree the forms look very good. That still doesn't change the fact that it was either a moronic decision or Blizzard has stopped making their own game and is only working based on their fear of angering the player base.
