Nope, I don't mind. Since it's the beta.

and you dont HAVE to wait until everything is downloaded to play
They're really playing with fire by doing that. You can't effectively debug a program that has a variable playstate, it's why they disable addons during alpha/beta...
For live it makes sense. Some people just want to jump in and maybe do something that doesn't require fighting. For beta it is a little stupid, but I doubt most people will start playing without 100% anyway. The aesthetic and technical differences are the entire point people are in the beta, otherwise they'd stay on live.
That's probably the mindset blizzard is going with here: anyone who's serious about testing is going to wait for 100%, everyone else will either test the new client for them or won't do it.
Any resto Druids like the changes they are seeing so far? I am thinking about rolling it since I jump around alot, am sick of melee, and am 2k+ every arena season but I don't know how some of the changes will affect me since I never played my Druid any other spec than bear.
Honestly having alot more trouble picking my cataclysm main than I did my wotlk and tbc mains. After losing 7 rolls in a icc25 pug this week I only know I want less competition, not a melee, and to arena well. Guess that only really means to be somewhat of value though since it's skill based, but never been a prob before.
Tanked my first instance, as bear, in cata... And holy shit does tanking now suck. The changes from wrath to cata make ne feel so incompetent that tanking wasn't even fun... No wonder my friend, who usually tanks as pally, didn't want to tank it
I wish the trainer would let me train stuff. Haven't played beta since like the last few big paladin/talent changes and there are 10ish spells on the trainer that I cannot train.
I guess I'll have to start updating my client so I can see how bad it is.
I need me one of these (especially a flying one)

One of the most epic questlines of WotLK cut short for cata. Color me extremely disappointed.
Holy fuck, this has to be the most epic shit I've encountered in the beta so far.
Spoiler: show
A rocker...riding a t-rex..riding a fucking shark that shoot laser. I'm sure it's old as hell, but damn, it's awesome.
Ugh I'd have to go all the way through vash'jr and the other area again to see that, judging from your quest log...
No, that's where you get the quest to enter Deepholm.
Lol, you were hating it pretty badly. i would have tanked it if you could even get most of the Prot Pally talents to stick. As it is though, Druid and Warrior are actually the farthest along in terms for tanking. If druid sucks so badly, imagine how much DKs and Paladins are feeling. They not only have to deal with basic tanking mechanic changes, but have to deal with sweeping changes to their base resource system. Sure Druids and Warriors need to deal with "normalized rage" but that doesnt hold a candle to Holy Power and the new way that Runes work now.

Its funny how Blizzard is trying their best to limit all 4 tank's AoE threat generation, but ALL 3 of the instances do not lend themselves to easy use of CC and often times you get into a group without CC to begin with. Not every class even has adequate CC even when they do have a CC ability. They really need to be consistent with their design philosophy both from a class design and an instance design standpoint. We can not go back to TBC where you needed multiple dps who were also CCs for every instance. Simply because of the LFG tool isn't smart enough.
That first hall in Stonecore in ICC25/25HM gear is a tad rough, with CC or without it.

On a separate note, go go repping most ICC25 gear halfway through Deepholme with green and blue quest rewards. Blizz has bent over backwards to make us feel like we did it just for the experience and not the gear.
I'm all for CC, but they make them harder to break with aoe.
Anyway, tanking still need some tweaking, but in overall, I'm enjoying the new sytem on paladin. Sure you're not as overpowered, but you're still needed.
