If they make the final fight of an expo a silly vehicle fight I am gonna be pretty mad. I wasn't bad at Malygos but I thought it was the stupidest raid fight of the expo. Give me a hard/fun fight like Sarth 3D 10 man or something, that fight was epic.

I'm all for them instancing an entire Horde/Alliance city and having you fight Deathwing right there. Hordes of NPC's doing their thing and getting baked, but the PC's pull off the special stuff that leads to the dragon going down, Garrosh/King Chin announcing the victory and world buff candy for everyone else, like when they downed Onyxia or the like.

BC had Fel Reavers, wotlk had the storm giant dudes(sort of? not really a threat), Cata has Deathwing pwning the shit out of random zones the entire duration of the expansion until he dies. Also, new login screen/music is in the beta now.

Wait what? Since when? I havent seen death wing owning anything in the beta?

WoTLK had krakken in the north sea, and lot of undead giant/frostwyrm. Cataclysm also have whale shark.

It's lacking something....the sky changing color and the fire on the ground is sweet, but it doesnt feel like he is enjoying the destruction. He should stop, spit fire all over the place, laugh, and leave.

Eh, Deathwing never struck me as that kind of crazy. I don't think destroying the world is about joy, but merely to have it done. Everyone else sucks and it's about some someone did something about it. I guess it's a common thread with dragons...

I really hope Nozdormu does something appropriately cool before he inevitably goes batshit on us.

Nah, but in the video, it doesnt look like he is spreading destruction accross the place, it look like he is casually mowing his lawn (with fire) or something. I cant say I've seen many dragons going on rampage in my life, so maybe thats how it should be!

The events really need a music and sound effect to be somewhat believable. I hope it was just a beta thing.

I dunno... if I was a dragon, I'd want to be very thorough in my destruction. Maybe he's a perfectionist OCD bringer of destruction. Maybe Malygos, Alexstraza, and Onyxia teased him at dragon school for his OCD ways and that's why he's took it out on the world (don't correct this, clearly I don't know lore whatnot).

Aren't the best serial killers OCD?

Deathwing must have been terrible at the dragon school to be in the same grade as his kid!

But yeah, I still stand by my point that he is doing an half assed job! It should have been like in the intro cg where he zoom over the place and destroy everything under.

during the tol barad focus test yesterday they tested out deathwing flying over the island pwning everything. He didn't work exactly, for 10 minutes he was just hovering over the island, then eventually we all died, so they have stuff to iron out. At one point Valnoth actually was playing around with him as a pet, tooltip read "Deathwing the Destroyer. Valnoth's minion." funny ass shit. Gonna be epic though deathwing owning everybody in select games of Tol Barad.

theres the questline up to and including warning your faction leader, either Garrosh or Varian, and thats where the quests end for now. Theres also the rifts spawning that reward a feat of strength.

Right so I saw the elementals in winterspring as lvl80 hunter but they sort of phased out when I got closer, any clues?.
Edit: Seems I was just "lucky" to catch the things as they were disappearing; mobs worked fine on the 2nd spawn, though I could not loot the mysterious thingie of course because I'm too high level.
