its lvl251 crap which would be amazing except that you can strut arund in full t10 gear in 4 days or less

The idea is awesome, but shit, it remind me of besieged in the first week. The events is kinda ridiculous with 10 billions people in oggrimar.

How is everyone elses servers holding up in the invasions? Last 2 runs on Alleria, the horde lost at thunder bluff and then both cities due to lack of people.

Takes Kilrogg ~25 minutes to clear Stormwind at primetime. Probably not winning otherwise. For some reason the Horde decided to attack Stormwind when there were hundreds of 80s hanging around.

Is there anything I am missing by not doing it? I got the Feat of Strength already from this event and done all other quests, and managed to queue for 1 of 5 bosses last night before it "ended" and got a hand in in Stormwind, but I was wondering whether I needed to jump into the lagfest to accept any other quests or can I avoid it completely.

The new bosses were fun without DBM, I love that unknown feeling.

EDIT: Bronzebeard Alliance also tried to setup a group to attack the horde, hoping for some epic showdown in the crossroads or something, not sure how that went.

You miss nothing by not participating, unless your side loses. This isn't some zerg rush comp stomp, the mobs have 350k health and hit for ~15k on cloth, and they CC people. It's actually pretty fun.

The real advantage to doing it is you can pre-form a 5-man group to do it, keep each other alive then insta-queue the second you drive back the elemental swarm.

Good good, I won't bother then. I logged into Stormwind and it took me a few attempts to get out without crashing. If there were 2 odd months until Cata I might've tried more, but aside from amassing Gold as much as possible I have no motivation to try to upgrade any further. Even a few recent gems I brought were the cheap "2nd best" ones =p

But however I will queue for bosses for fun tho
