Did they treat Lich King like a pet back before LK came out? Deathwing just seems so cute right now haha

Arthas went through about 4 different size scales over the course of the xpac; he looked positively huge in some cutscenes and in the crusader's coliseum, but Tauren DKs are taller than he is in Acherus.

Ah I didn't mean the size, but how Blizzard, and players, are treating him now as in referring to him like a pet, rather than some badass villain (although he is badass):

"Deathwing isn't done destroying the world yet, he will be after this!"

Was wondering if LK got any of this kind of treatment, maybe along the lines of

"He's still fighting spiders! When he's done he'll appear in ICC!" etc XD

He's become a pet only ebcause blizzard made the fight so accesible. The whole expansion its been about the LK so ye, not really a pet.

The fastest leveling so far, is to discover BRC grind it out till 81(it was 82 but they nerfed the xp) and go quest. I would do Hyjal personally.

How long does it take to hit 81 in BRC?

Do the new cooking dailies have rewards beyond gold/rep? Did they in beta? Just wondering if it's worth it to start stocking up on "Bags of Spices" in the new equivalents.

Yea they give you a cooking badge thing, didn't find the vendor though. Has anyone found the fishing daily? I looked around and couldn't him :/

The cooking daily vendor in SW is right next to Robby Flay, and the fishing daily quest giver is in the water between trade and mage quarter. I can't say for Hordies though

i thought i watched a beta video once where Cairne's funeral was at the entry point for new Tauren characters, could be wrong though, haven't rolled new ones yet.

yeah mine was finished when i logged on. Not gonna complain though, i wasn't gonna bother with it until flying was added anyway.

Also, can someone explain why Moira Bronzebeard Thaurissian is representing the Dark Iron at the council chamber in Ironforge?

Edit: Nevermind, I guess I never remembered the fact that she's completely nuts and has aligned herself with the Dark Iron...blames you for the death of her unborn child's father etc etc. It makes a certain amount of sense.

I'm loving the new "mysterious egg" duration, it went from 7 days to 3 yay more chances for green proto drake. Also, the new fishing icon is no longer a cogwheel, but a cute little fish

As long as we're pointing out cool little things that just make the game better, they gave DKs a new sound effect while summoning their deathcharger. Sounds much better than the old "I'm casting a shadowbolt" sound.

A lot of the guild rewards cost gold, and it will add up very quickly. No idea what prices are for faction items in Cata but thats another potential money sink.
