For at least a time in the alpha (way back when, love you Tonko) you could not, while being able to fly in rest of old world. That may have changed though I guess
Yeah, you could get onto your flying mounts, but not actually fly. Think I remember flying through Ghostlands on my proto drake though.
So:
BG's are every 5 levels now (brackets are x0-x4, x5-x9, etc.)
EotS comes in at level 40, probably earlier.
AV starts at level 45
Random BG option begins at level 45.
I love Blizzard.
Really? That is freaking sweet!
So I ran the new deadmines last night on my night elf mage. Holy. shit. Blizzard has won me over completely and totally, this expansion is quite possibly the best I have ever seen for a game, and the bulk of it is not even playable yet :D
AB at level 10.
35 and I can que for EoTS. Might be lower or 30 maybe. Not sure.
30 is no go, my level 30 warrior can't queue EotS
On the Beta were the portals to the 78-85 leveling zones available in SW and Org? If so, or even if not, does anyone where they will be?
Blizz said somewhere they'll be available Dec 7th, are you saying players have to make them appear, or will they all just spawn? Also where will they be?
the stone circles in both Orgrimmar and Stormwind. Theres scenery where each respective portal will appear for each of the 5 new zones. I know late beta the way you made the portals appear was by starting to quest in each zone, so the Hyjal portal won't appear til you start questing there etc.
Finished up the new old world experience earlier, did the southern Kalimdor route as Priest. Overwhelmingly a success and in particular Thousand Needles was great. Desolace needs some rebalancing, it doesn't feel up to scratch.
Hoping to see the Eastern Kingdoms run on Hunter sometime.
swamp of sorrows is extremly hilarious with the goblin-chains![]()
So far Eastern Kingdoms has been a solid levelling experience. Redridge and Northern Stranglethorn stand out so far as epic storylines with very satisfying end of zone quests. Duskwood/WPL/EPL aren't bad but they didn't quite add the fireworks present in Redridge/N. STV.
When did dual spec become 35 or lower and only cost 10 gold? that's pimp
yeah its 30 now, and 10 gold is stupid cheap. didn't think it was that low in beta, could be wrong
It was 100 gold in beta I think. Pretty awesome!
It's definitely 10g on live now, loving it.
From what I hear though, the dust we use to change glyphs at 80 can't be used 81+, and the shit we have to use then is 10g a pop. I guess that explains why they decided we didn't need the big mount sink.
