Been toying with my low level Rogue and been in a few instances, after getting slightly frustrated with not seeing a decent tank, I decided it was a good opportunity to try Worgen and play their starting area, and also try Warrior tanking (I'm an existing DK and Paladin tank).

I am very pleased with the interior details of the new zone, was very refreshing. Quests were nice and simple and towards the end the final quest bugged out, so I Googled around to check and was happy to learn that the city would be a BG :D -- I love urban warfare! Can't wait to play cat and mouse in the underground tunnel with a few people =p - shame it's only 10v10 though.

EDIT: GOOD BYE SCOURGELORD HAT, YOU WILL BE MISSED /emo -- I'm in cata clown gear ... it's painful to tank without style

Don't mean to break your heart, but Blizzard dropped the ball with the battle of Glianas and it no longer takes place inside the city. It's now just a reskinned AB outside of it. Pretty upsetting

Wtf is wrong with itemization? Last quest of Vash'j gives some okay blue boots (ilvl288). First quest of deepholme give a better pair (ilvl287 green)

Since when higher blue is destroyed by lower green?

Probably not itemized well for your class, anyway. Personally I think leather has wayyyy too much fucking stamina/mastery on it but I reckon my opinion of it would change if I were a feral bear instead of a rogue.

Not sure why people dislike Vashj'ir, found it quite enjoyable. Deepholm however, I'm finding boring as fuck. Can't wait to get out of here.

In order of enjoyability, the 81-85 zones rank as follows

    Uldum >>>>> Deepholm > Vashj'ir/Hyjal >>> Twilight Highlands.

Twilight Highlands is thickly phased and has as many quests as Icecrown did, making things kind of a headache. The ruby dragonflight quests at the end were a nice, epic capper to the thousands of bear arses I had to collect, but then it drags on and on with the Cho'gall sideshow afterwards. A lot of mixed feelings about the new 'Icecrown' zone, ultimately making it less fun than crawling around in giant mollusc brains and bouncing bears off a trampoline.

Deepholm is probably the most beautiful zone in the game though. Not a huge fan of the quests but the scenery more than makes up for it.

Uldum is a total package between creativity of quests and variation of locales. Also Harrison Jones.

I might like twilight then. I LOVE phasing and I've been disappointed at the lack of it so far. I just started uldum like ten minutes ago so no opinion on it yet but I am so happy to be out of deepholm. z.z

Twilight Highlands is grand, good blend of silliness/epicness/lore for old Warcraft fans and a looooooot of phasing. It makes the last push to 85 feel relatively quick, especially after how slooooooow Uldum gets at the end.

Deepholm was my least favorite new zone, slow-paced and quests felt pretty dull/uninspired after Hyjal.

I really really liked the wildhammer questline, getting all the clans together and whatnot. I really really did not like the cho'gall sideline with SI:7 very much, though.

Harrison Jones first line in Uldum talk about stealing explosive...but that quest in Vash'ir involving him was removed. Or did I miss something?

I meant, the green had higher stats cost, unless mastery worth way less than...forgot what, think crit.

Twilight Highlands should of ended w/ the dragonflight stuff. That was epic... then after that nothing could come close to being as epic and was just boring and dragging on

I will agree with that, Cho'gall's a little bitch compared to Deathwing

I'm up to the beginning of twilight now and I gotta say Vashj'ir was the most engaging to me. I think I have a thing for deep, dark water levels. I especially like that at every turn you're fighting a painfully desperate battle and you're never sure if you're going to win.

Best part of the Harrison Jones line was the ending. Finally seeing the bastard again was friggin hilarious.

The "slow walking" part? I thought it was hilarious.

Though Uldum questing was decent.. not great not bad. But my god I love the scenery. I have always had a soft spot for egyptian stuff, so I loved the music and just waling around the zone.

    • The gem cuts Timeless Nightstone, Jagged Jasper, and Solid Zephyrite can no longer create perfect versions of the cut.

Going to guess those are the JC daily ones? lol
