Nerfing druids = Frost mage buff.
I would like to see some mage nerfs and no the RoF nerf is hardly anything.

Pretty sure "pvp only" nerfs started in vanilla when they made toep and zhc not stackable.
Mages are bad PvE I know but in PvP they need something to make them not so damn good, that or mage rogues not get shit on by them. Every expansion they get something cool through changes/spells/abilities to combat us and we don't get anything :/
You shouldn't have any problem fighting frost mages as subtlety, at all. We have enough ways to get out of all of their stupid novas/ring and helluvalot more burst than their fuckin ice lance spam. What you SHOULD be concerned about is the fucking DK buff.
DK buff will result in us being nerfed to shit anyway, because... dun dun dun...
It's a massive mage nerf. Can't be having that.
Sub damage sucks and although it fights mages better then the other specs it can't outparse warlock heals or a blood DK to save its life outside of dance and thats easy to counter with a cooldown.
Mutilate actually has damage to parse with other PvP classes but lacks utility.
They need a buff to sub damage and mutilate mobility IMO.
I for one am enjoying slaughtering Rogues as a Frost Death Knight. o/
Are people still using Frost DK in PvP? I only started playing WoW back in Oct. and Frost is by far my favorite spec., but after much discussion with friends I have gone unholy for the most part in PvP. I'm getting used to it and starting to do pretty good and really getting a good grasp on PvP and almost completed my gear. Through the use of Glyph's and specing strang down a 1 min cd with a 7 second debuff, with the new changes to chillblains, and some other tweaks, I think frost is going to be slightly more viable, but Unholy is still king in PvP, no?
It's an interesting situation.
Personally, right now I'm running unholy so that I can have it down solidly when the patch hits, because the passive freedom is just amaaaaaaazing. However, I definitely feel I'd be considerably more successful atm (probably ~50-100 points higher in terms of rating) if I were running frost. Part of that is a matter of my setups (2 dps 2's, 3 dps 3's) and how hungering cold played into them, but a big part is also the simple fact that while UH is the superior spec for NS stacking, frost is utterly untouchable in terms of dropping an opposing 2dps/3dps or knocking someone out when they los their healer, etc. I've made a decent bit of gear improvement since going UH, and the last time I was frost I was putting up 42-43k oblits with full setup on 0 resil. Meanwhile my biggest crits as UH are like 15k total SS and ~22k FeS.
In the next patch, unholy will move ahead in most situations, but there are still places where frost will shine. TSG, for example, will be insane with the new chillbains. Intercept into throwdown into coi root spam will have your warrior just doing ridiculous shit. And of course, in battlegrounds there's no comparison at all, frost is just miles and miles ahead.
Also, can't wait for next patch, fighting this is going to be so fun...
That's premade chars on the ptr with 3.3k resil.
Am I seeing that right? Those duels are over in the first global about half the time, definitely within the third in all cases
He's doing what Arms warriors do now, Recklessness + More damage with more rage buff + infinite rage buff and 1 shot people. Of course arms warriors also don't hit for 79k in one swing
Deathwish (20% dmg), enrage (10% dmg), colossus smash (100% armor pen), recklessness (3 guaranteed crits).
That's actually 114k dmg in 1 hit... it's raging blow, 110% dmg from both hands... 73k mh, 41k oh. That one like had to be both of them in pve gear and shit... I hope. What's really scary though is the one right after that... raging blow on a ret pally that's clearly in full resil gear for 33k mh 18k oh... 51k on full resil plate wearer is totally balanced though.
Deadly Calm
2 min cooldown
For the next 10 sec, none of your abilities cost rage, but you continue to generate rage. Cannot be used during Inner Rage.
oh.
