Maybe you're killing the wrong ones? The ones in the Garden are tougher, but they definitely put out. Whenever we need JoF pops, I ask the shell "who needs a relaxing earring?" Those flowers seem to have about the same drop rate for both NQ and HQ organs.

In my experince farming a couple relaxing earrings I ended up getting a shitload more HQ's than NQ's lol. Twice or three times as many iirc.

Nah we'd always kill in garden, and never even got 1. Euvhis aren't particularly hard to kill, I've killed tons of them, just for some reason they don't drop, ever.

A good way to get those to stop is to shout the expected value of any gil bet as they're doing their "0-998 lose, 999 double your gil" shouts. Not because people get uninterested by knowing just how shitty shout casinos are (the average player hates math and doesn't even understand the concept of expected value) but because the casino guys will get annoyed enough to stop.

Nirvana is a great linkshell, however it came with a heavy price. It was great looking at huge pay checks and being able to do just about anything, however when you play with people who aren't even really your friends to a certain degree (there were a few people in that LS I considered friends, and they know who they are), the game gets extremely boring, extremely fast. Add in the fact that I got a new full-time job, I lost complete interest in the game. There were a few other things that I'd rather not post here that happened, but that was pretty much the last straw. Friends on Remora (aka Leviathan) told me to not give up on the game just yet and come on over, so thats what I did. The only thing I feel guilty about leaving is that I had an Ultima pop that was completed by a limbus group within a shell (I had 2 chips prior), but the guy who ran it pretty much said that limbus would pretty much be done with.

In short, too many people in that LS have their own agendas. Smoker is the perfect leader, I would have it no other way. Guy knows what the fuck he's doing, doesn't take a cut from the bank at all, and actually uses common sense when it comes to leading shit. Some of the sacks in the LS however were just meh. One sack in particular would blow shit out of proportion and make it ten times worse than it really was, and that shit got annoying. Unbeknownst to them, I had access to the leader section of the forum (lol) and it was nice to see how much this person bitched about everything.

tl;dr Nirvana's a great linkshell with not so great people in it.

EDIT: To say Asura got worse when Pandemonium merged is kinda silly. I don't ever remember shout casinos in white gate on Pandy, so I don't even wanna hear that shit, dawg.

I think I'd seen one shout casino ever in whitegate befor the merge. They didn't pop up right after, but they've been becoming far too regular over the last few weeks.

No where near as bad as Shiva though. Jesus fuck, I had about 30ish casinos blacklisted.

Do people hate casinos solely based on the annoyance factor? A.k.a.: constant shouting, hearing people bitch when they lose gil, etc.?

Ramuh had one named Janp who had great odds, shouted once every 10~ minutes, and no one ever bitched about him. God knows I didn't.. the one time I gambled I went from 2mil gil to 14mil gil in 15 minutes (luck, I know.. but still).

Lol in theory casinos are a good idea, but the majority of them will rip you off. i.e, some will ask you to trade gil first; if they lose, they'll conveniently d/c'd. At least that was the case with some dude named Venomick on Remora way back when.
