I was DRG/BLU, soloing in the hallway before the Bhaflau tower camp. Don't recall seeing anybody else there at the time... Only thing I could make of it is somebody managed to die without mimic going off just before I arrived.

A few nights ago I tried to do the fishing MMM for a friend... took 45 minutes and a GM call to get into the zone. In his words, stuff like this really shows the age of the game.

All I have to say to Rosemae is, umad. I feel sorry for not saying it earlier, but I know she blacklisted me. Also it'd be out of place since I didn't think of it til a couple minutes later.

No offense, but if you start a Nyzul set with people, then finish it with them. Accidents happen with even the best groups.

If you just bail with no warning, there's no way they or their buddies are going to invite you again to that or anything else.

That's true, and I feel a little bad about it. It was a guaranteed failure so at the moment it felt like the right thing to do. Probably will think about this next time.

Normally you're right, but on both Hades and Cerb it seems the average person is a retard when it comes to doing lamp floors that aren't Code. I've timed out on floors before a boss floor with 10-20 minutes remaining cause of lamps too many times to count, if his group was the same then frankly it's a waste of time to stay till the end unless he desperately needs tokens on the offchance they finally get it right. The fact that the RDM(assuming Rose was a RDM since they complained about enfeebling) is saying he/she died cause unsleepable monsters were around their lamp, and didnt call for the party to help kill them only further shows that the people in that particular party probably weren't bright. Going 41-55 or even 81-95 isn't hard it's all based on luck so I dunno why they thought it was worth mentioning like "lol we went 15 floors so its not our fault".

That doesn't mean it wasn't a dick move btw, but generally we're at the state in this game where its a choice between being a dick or wasting time. I know which I'd pick!

Then there are the people who pull dick moves that waste your time, such as being at 4/5 floors done with 30 seconds left and clicking "next floor" because "it might give us a free floor, you never know!"

The worst was the party jumping at me for bitching at the guy, because "we're in this for completion, not tokens, and it really might have been a free floor, so he was entirely justified." This is, of course, with me having paid for the floor.

That's almost always the leader's fault. I explain lamps pre-enter and then call them on nyzul runs I do and have never had anyone mess it up. The only time I have problems is when someone aggros and dies but at times that is just unavoidable.

Also, I know it sucks to explain lamps every time but if not you run the risk of getting the guy who doesn't want to admit he doesn't know how lamps work and then kills the run.
