That's almost always the leader's fault. I explain lamps pre-enter and then call them on nyzul runs I do and have never had anyone mess it up.

Sounds like you are really lucky. I explain lamps every time too, and its not like its complicated. I've had someone who single handedly wasted 15 minutes on a lamp floor by wandering around following me instead of staying at his lamp. Despite 5 minutes of "retard, stand still. do not move. stay exactly where you are now. no, stop following me and stay there" while waiting for one of the non-tard people to come do his lamp for him. Followed by him clicking my lamp in the wrong order. You get people that will just wander around the floor clicking on lamps no matter how much you tell them to stop and just stay put. There are some incredibly stupid people playing this game, and not everyone is lucky enough to avoid them.

When I did my Nyzul climb, which was all with pickups except for one friend, I'd just tell them all not to press or say a damn thing until I said so, they found a lamp, or they got aggro. Worked quite well. If everybody is talking and going on about "OMFG HATE ORDER FLOOR," it makes shit really annoying and difficult to coordinate. Otherwise, it'd take 3 minutes at most (1-2 if you have lamp IDs).

Not really their fault... it's possible to only get 2 ranged cells. The random fail should be that someone forgot to duplicate enough cells before moving up.

We usually just said something like "Does everyone have ranged?" and the people who knew they needed range would say something. I could see the problem if they didn't know what or who an unlocker was.

Campaign ends, lot loots. Someone's afk so I rest while loot drops. Campaign starts again immediately after so I grab tags and idle. About 4 minutes in I get this.

Isn't this something you check off as they drop? You have to officially see ranged cell drop twice in the room of lizards or if htey only dropped once you have to consciously duplicate them to pop the frog. I don't see how you get all the way to that floor without realizing you only got a single set of ranged cells to drop. Thats determined by the time you pop the frog on 2F.

They could also get really hurt and start telling all their friends and doing shouts etc. Doesn't usually stop at them being annoyed you left them hanging. I usually do my own shouts and start my own shit but if someone is consistently joining pick ups then it could possibly hurt them in the end.
