Sorry, my bad, I guess I used to do rvb with 4 ppl then, been a while. Though I'd rather get 1600 AP on 3 of my own chars (and know I'll be able to get armband on nyn) then get 1666 on one of mine.

If you have the alt char and can run it for PL with ease then I don't see why not.

If you need a PL for a counterstanced MNK/WAR, get better mages. Shit takes less damage than some /nin pickups I've seen if you have counter merits and decent acc..

I may not need it but I don't have to hear anyone bitch. Well, sometimes I do but I can tell them to go fuck themselves.

Edit: Just to be clear I've seen people drop when they join a meripo when there's a MNK/WAR(without stopping to ask any questions). I think it's one job combo that gets the biggest overreaction.

MNK/WAR is amazing. People just see that MNKs have really high HP but not much in the ways of 100% accurate defense (Counterstance is "but then they take like twice the damage from hits"), think it's a giant MP sink, and act like it's the end of the world. Edit: Alternatively they take the JP "making healers use MP is bad" mindset.

MNK/NIN has its uses but weak mobs isn't really one of them.
