1- Who said less resists was bad? But as opposed to working on the high damage scythe, or the OAT scythe, or the melee acc scythe, or the STR/Atk scythe... less resists on absorb spells is an absolutely ridiculous goal to be aiming for as a DRK.
2- Never said MAB affected dark spells, was just clarifying that that's how the relationship between MAB and MAcc works in general. If that was unclear... oh well@you.

o: shouldn't really be in a rush when spending that much money, I almost did that a few times myself but when I deal with spending over 2m+ I always make sure what I'm accepting my gil transfer to is what I want it to be.

In all my years in game, I lost 75 twice. I hated the very idea of delevelling. Once I lost it, was pretty much I died from a link as soon as I levelled, in an xp party.

The other time was an appalling Dynamis-Bastok where I lost 18k xp. I actually walked outta there as 75 but I heard the level down noise as I hit the floor.

I pretty much always kept all my jobs at 15-20k buffer and my WHM was almost always 40k+ (I use it the most).

So... when I finally got the merits together to remove the level cap, I refused to ding 76 on BLM (the job I was on at the time) first. I went to change to WHM, did a quick campaign, dinged, but left weakened.

I tele'd out, ran through holla into Sea and ended up meeting THAT shark...
Bam! 75..

within 20 mins I followed it up with a delevel of my freshly 76 BLM too :D

Suffice to say I have buffers on both now >.>
