I just started up playing again and I picked up some random shout social linkshell. There's a dude in there who was talking about a Dynamis shell he joined where the members have to bid gil on drops. There are no points. Sometimes the pieces run into the millions of gil, like for RDM hat. The gil and the money drops are collected and pooled. At the end of the run they aresplit between the participants.

Seems like a system that is easily corrupted to me. Either that, or some Dynamis leader somewhere is screwing themself out of their own hard work and giving away gil to useless people.
