XI Wiki
Pretty much as the title says. This is a new PC, and the last week I've been playing ffxi on it, it's been dropping to 1-3 fps then it goes back fine. It wasn't doing this before hand, any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Fragmented Files / Bottlenecked HDD would be the first thing I'd check.

That or you have a processor hog. If its a new PC i doubt he has fragmented files bad enough to drop his FPS like that.
Keep your task manger open or download the gaget that tracks your processor/network speeds and see if something is opening/streaming.

try running ccleaner and see if it helps
