Forks will now drop non stop because whenever the guy who got it gets something he wants, a ton drop after. It'll beat my Thalasocrat, so I will suck slightly less.

Well generally we only use PLD in xarcabard much these days. However if I'm pulling (especially in cop zones) I just prefer pulling with Paladin. Its more forgiving and its easier to stay alive. You got sentinel if sleepers are slow. Generally I dont even try to hold hate, I just toss on a templar mace and just spam cure everyone, especially the sleepers. Makes the run more efficient I think than using PLD in the traditional sense (because mobs die too fast and you cant really tank them even if you wanted to). Though PLD are still useful at times for MNK mobs (but usually still die to fast to matter).

I actually tend to do the same thing, these days. BLM's tend to forget to stun during Hundred Fists, other DD's don't bash, etc. so I will usually just sit tight and let the MNK kill the lesser DD's, so I'm fresh for the next mob.

I did this so often, that I got the other DD's to do the same when I was in Thorny's shell, rofl. Me and Makod would just sit, watch the others drop, then continue bangin' out dem weapon skillz yo. Usually it was Hyriu who would end up dying every single MNK, poor Taru ...

Have your LS blm or rdm pick a monk, gravity it, nuke it so it's 2hr triggers, then re-sleep it (gravity is for safety if only one mage nukes and gets resisted, it lets them kite a bit).

Anyways did Temenos last night, still farming our Ultima, got some pretty nice AF+1 drops! My group got WHMx2, SCH, BRD, DRG, BLM, WAR, SMN. SAM dropped from the other group but I got to lot it since I was the only 65+ sam who wanted it. I also got 1 of the WHM pieces for commenting it, now I can make AF+1 body! :D

Apparently getting blown the fuck up by smn 2hr ensures drops.

Agreed, but even with mediocre tanks, I can flash every 30~ sec or so without pulling hate. Pretty helpful for Salvage chariots.

I leveled with a BRD, who'd hit the melee with ACC/Attack and my PLD with Ballad. And we thought we were SUPER FUCKING COOL too. Good times.
