You know, I can understand not liking the guy, but I don't see how its "shit" gear.

372 ACC /with/ hasso says 'sup, assuming full merits + bushi. 412 with pizza +1 which won't even come close to capping you in half the shit in this game seeing as how it's 7 ACC over the cap for colibri.

I'd call that pretty shitty. Especially given how much gil he magically acquired to pimp out his character before moving servers. Now he's broke, has a horrible reputation on a server where almost everyone of any value (even Armada!) reads BG, and so unskilled as to have acquired said gear without bitching constantly for months that his performance in any salvage group foolish enough to accept him will undoubtedly be a self-fulfilling prophecy of fuckingdom.

It's shit for the circumstances. It's half-decent for a normal, nq player. It's not for somebody who has made this much of a fuss over himself.

Kaiten is cool, and the aftermath is tits, but I don't think I've ever witnessed more back-to-back wiffs on a WS then I have with Amano, I also blame the fact it was a Taru.

Eh, idk. I have seen the misses you are talking about, but in general it destroys in the areas it is useful in. 2 Amano sams+a Mandau thf in salvage = absolute rape.

You will undoubtedly continue to respond to me, and everyone else, because you are unable not to. Unless your pity parade is a mile long you feel the need to draw all the attention to yourself.

Your character is a year old and you're just getting haidate now. This game may have once been challenging to some degree but it isn't anymore. Countless players have returned to FFXI or started from scratch and made exponentially greater progress than you with exponentially less fuss and vagina leaking.

The gear as a whole may not be "shit," although it is by no means even on par with your average NQ AH SAM. The fact is that for the time and effort you've put into thusfar, what you have to show for it is shit. Pure, utter, shit.

You don't have to be a Thorny, or me, or even an A+ player. We may have done over the top things in short time that may not be possible for the average player, that's fine. However there are players who don't shout from the top of every mountain, "WOE IS ME!" who have succeeded where you continually fail. That, is what makes you AND your gear, shit.
