Well, having a lazy rdm pretty much comes down to having no rdm other then having some pink mage assisting you with cures...
It sometimes sucks that the people you rely on doing a good job sometimes also have other jobs they're good at and needed more on or aren't around.
As said before, I don't have a pocket red mage, but I add here, I don't have an army either.

And it's not that I need to enfeeble that much, but in the case I do need to, that I can be relied on doing that part of the job.
It's called versatility, you should look into that.

Um, then why have we seen probably 15+ while farming for RDM and BLM over the last few months? Only what you don't really want ever drops kiddies.

I have barely done Limbus but in the 20 or so runs I have been in I would say that about 75% of the AF+1 drops that we go hit the floor because they were either BST, WAR, PUP or BLU and we didn't have any BSTs, PUPs or BLUs and if anyone lotted on WAR to actually upgrade a piece someone probably would have booted them from LS for being so stupid lol.
